Digital Painting

Digital Painting is done completely through a computer program such as Photoshop, with an accompanying Wacom tablet (which I cannot live without). Some of these, such as the above image, were drawing in pencil and ink before being scanned and manipulated/colored over extensively. Others were sketched and painted completely in the computer.

Sally Lumpkin’s Party, a children’s book I illustrated in 2008, was done entirely in Photoshop.
